Sandra Long

Sandra Long

Co Founder / Executive Director

Sandra earned her MIS Degree in 1997 from Gannon University and worked in the Technology field for over 11 years before starting Blended Spirits Ranch. She has always had a love for horses and has always known she had a calling to help underprivileged children. When the opportunity to put these two passions together became a reality, it lit a commitment in her heart that is insatiable. She now holds 5 certifications in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. She is a co-founder and Executive Director of Blended Spirits Ranch. Sandra feels blessed to be able to coordinate this outreach, and is excited and eager to watch the miracles that happen when combining the love of horses with the love of humans


Susan Defazio

President

Susan was born and raised in Millcreek Township, graduating from McDowell High School in 1980. She graduated from Gannon University in 1982 with an Associate of Arts Degree/Legal Assistant. Employed the past 11 years at Sesler and Sesler Law Office, she oversees the management of 14 commercial office buildings leased to the Commonwealth of PA in addition to handling real estate closings and decedent estates.


Jackie Ksenich

Jackie Ksenich is a graduate of McDowell Senior High School and attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She is a Commercial Lender at Northwest Savings Bank. Jackie is a member of McLane Church, Girard~Lake City Chamber of Commerce, Albion Area Chamber of Commerce and the Northwest Little Gridder Cheerleaders. She has been an avid horse owner, rider and caregiver for the past 30 years. Jackie resides in Albion, PA with her daughter Jessica.


Shirlene Twaroski

Shirlene grew up in Waterford, PA. A graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School and received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Clarion University. She is a Business Analysis for FirstEnergy. She also has been a volunteer and board member of GreySave of NWPA for over 17 years and currently owns 3 retired racing greyhounds. Shirlene grew up riding and enjoying her cousin’s horses and is thrilled to be a part of Blended Spirits Ranch.


Stephanie LeGrange

Stephanie Le Grange

Stephanie Le Grange moved from South Africa in 2005, graduating from Fairview High School in 2010. She received a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science from Edinboro University. She works as an international logistics specialist at Logistics Plus inc while attending Data Science Graduate Program at Mercyhurst University. She has also been apart of the Blended Spirits Ranch family since 2010.


Joyce Jagielo

Joyce Jagielo, PhD

Board Member

Joyce Jagielo graduated from the University of Kentucky with a PhD in experimental psychology in 1989. She held a postdoctoral position at SUNY-Binghamton from 1988 – 1990 then joined the faculty at Edinboro University. Her varied research interests can loosely be summed as reflecting an interest in understanding the relationship between brain function and behavior (especially learning, memory and mental health disorders). She has a love of horses that began at age 9 with her first riding lessons and is excited to be a small part of the mission of Blended Spirits Ranch!


Cheryl Forero

Cheryl Forero, MA, LPC

Board Member

Cheryl is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2004. She continued her education at Edinboro University receiving her Masters in Community Counseling in 2009. In 2016, Cheryl completed a 10-month certificate program in Traumatic Stress Studies under the direction of Bessel van der Kolk, M.D. In 2004 she completed a 3-year program at Full Spectrum Center for Healing Arts.
Cheryl is currently the owner and therapist at A Place for Hope, Healing, and Transformation, LLC where she provide treatment for individuals and families focusing on concerns such as grief, abuse, trauma, and experiences that have impacted an individual’s development.


Megan Chong

Megan Chong, MA, LPC

Board Member

Megan is a graduate of Gannon University obtaining her Bachelors degree in Psychology in 2001. She continued her education at Gannon receiving her Masters in Community Counseling in 2004 and her Post-Graduate Certificate in 2005. Megan is currently the owner and therapist at Tradewinds Counseling Services, LLC. where she provides specialized assessment and treatment for individuals and families addressing concerns surrounding abuse, trauma, children with problematic sexual behavior and adolescents who have sexually offended. Megan is excited to collaborate with Blended Spirits Ranch to bring her specialized services together with the speciality of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to provide a more effective and efficient experience for our clients.


Frank Supinski

Frank Supinski, CSM

Board Member

Frank first Enlisted in United States Marine Corps 1976, Served active duty until 1980. Enlisted in United States Army Reserves 1981 served in Buffalo, NY and in 1985 transferred to Special Forces in Youngstown OH. Attended Special Forces Qualification Course at Ft Bragg, NC 1986 and initially was trained as a Special Force Engineer and also as a Special Forces Medical NCO. Went back to Active duty in 1994 through 1999 deploying to various areas throughout the world. After release from active duty was Operations and Intelligence Instructor as a Reserve Soldier at Ft Bragg, NC. 2000 was given an assignment as Operations SGT in unit in Erie, PA. That unit was mobilized in Oct 2001 and sent to support War on Terror. Returned home June 2002 to meet his daughter who was born on Christmas Day 2001. During the period of 2003 through 2004 was a team member who developed Convoy Defense Operations Program of Instruction that was taught to all Army Units deploying to Iraq. 2006 through 2007 I was deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq supporting the Military Surge into those countries to reverse the advances the enemy was making against the governments of those nations.
In 2009 through 2010 I was deployed in Iraq with Joint Special Operations Command in support of the Global War On Terrorism.
I am currently serving as a Command Sergeant Major at a Brigade that teaches Civil Affairs and Physiological Operations to all branches of our Military.


Bonnie Shuey

Bonnie was raised on a farm in the Conneautville area, and attended and graduated from Conneaut Valley Elem and High. She then attended Edinboro University and graduated with a Business/Accounting Degree. Bonnie retired from Northwest Savings Bank in 2010 with 30 years service after managing the Springboro branch. Bonnie has served on various boards in the community and is presently the Tax Collector for Summerhill Twp and also Treas/Bookkeeper for Momentum Entertainment based in Cleveland, Ohio.
