About the Event
Our horses provide a non-judgmental listening ear for your child to read to. If your child is struggling with reading, or even if they are an advanced reader, and need some incentive to keep practicing, this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.
All abilities and ages welcome. Please bring a book or other reading material of your child's choice. More experienced readers are welcome to read for younger children who may just enjoy coming for the event.
Arrive anytime within the event hours. Each reader will be paired with a horse and one of our ranch volunteers and given a minimum of 20 minutes to practice reading. Reading times will be extended if possible, depending on the number of participants, and available horses. Small wait times may be necessary to accommodate all readers.
