Equine Assisted Psychotherapy

What to Expect

Equine-assisted therapy is a form of experiential treatment that incorporates horses to support a person's physical, emotional, and mental well-being. A ground-based mental health approach, clients do not ride our horses. Instead, we groom, feed, lead, or observe the animals to build trust, communication, and emotional regulation.

❋ Intentional Structure

We blend guided moments, open exploration, and space to reflect—so the experience feels both focused and fluid.

❋ Collaborative Energy

Connection is a core part of the process. You’ll learn just as much from the horse as from your therapist and yourself!

❋ Expert Facilitation

Our therapists and facilitators are certified in a wide variety of equine services- including EMDR, DBR, biofeedback, and reiki. The staff have been trained and certified by the OK Corral Series- the leading training program developed by Greg Kersten, the originator of EAP.

❋ A Supportive Space

Our staff and therapists have all received extensive training in trauma-informed care, equine safety, and emergency response- so you can feel safe and secure during your sessions.
